Freedom Learner – An introduction to alternative education is the work of Sayar Naw Aung, an author and farmer working on environmental issues. He has written several books and articles focused on the importance of the health of our mother planet Earth. Freedom Learner is a short introduction to alternative education that is more looking into learning freely, taking care of happiness and spirituality and caring for the environment that sustains our lives. In this book, the author shared why alternative education matters for all of us, especially during crises like the COVID-19 Pandemic, armed conflicts and poverty which hinder people from formal education systems and accessing quality education.
