Niko shared the idea to design a garden based on the idea of Bill Mollison. As a designer, your function is to know where to place things. And why? It is not your function to tell people how to garden. Or how to build a house. Or how to make a dam. Although you may comment on all those things. Your function as a gardner is to place things in the environment and place them in such a way that you use their multiple functions that you create low energy inputs for high yield and stability.
